Just chiming in with a question; anyone here tried playing Braid? It suffers from rather horrendous slowdowns for me - something which really shouldn't happen if you consider how it looks and what hardware it's supposed to require. Seems pretty weird, really, since it doesn't seem to tax the CPU or RAM in any alarming way; as far as I know, the graphics are the only thing that remains as the cause.
Well, either that or it's one of the game's weirder fourth-wall-breaking puzzles.
Is Braid available in PC? Are you talking about the XBoX Best 2D platformer game?

No traffic, huh? Just thought I'd drop by and say I'm running S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow Of Chernobyl pretty much smoothly, it only occassionally lags in the bigger battles. Amazing game, too.
I'm not sure about Clear Sky, the requirements seem to be a bit higher, but I'll test that as soon as I get my hands on it.

Just for the info,Splinter Cell Chaos Theory plays well.
Also,does anyone tried da Modded driver for 945GM v1.2 final? Tested it and it works great,most game has a rise of FPS,i mean,FEAR plays a lot smoother (of coz with v1.08 patch) with all effects and physics max up. I was amazed.
Generally now GM950 has better openGL support (Hardware) using this driver. I would recommend any GMA user to use it as it uncapped the limit og GMA950 and 915 in fact..^^

Regarding the amount of RAM needed to run Carbon smoothly: a shitload. Not sure what version he used when testing it or even what the specs were; while I somehow managed to convince it to run on Vista/1.8 dual/2 GB, the framerate makes it unplayable.
Gears of war? Don't even bother with trying.
Hey i know most of you probobly already know this but a lot of people seem to be posting that they are running 945gm with 128vram. that amount is set by the comp manufacturer there is really 224mb of vram all u have to do is go in to dos and change it. not that that does any good seeing as games are eather 128mb or 256 or somthing around that eather way their arnt acually any games that are for 224mb of vram

All the info on the 945gm says you can use it's PCIeX16 slot to upgrate the graphics. Does that mean I could put in a GTX 280M?

About Gamecube Emulator, I try various of it, i remember that i was able to run Zelda Twilight Princess in some emulator (forgot the name) but it was so lag that it's unplayable at all (1-2fps)

Sorry. The real thing is, COD4 isnt unplayable. I've tried all of the lowest setting but it couldn't help.
Hey, when i tried PES2010 with mod driver 32bit... (Maybe some bugs or not) It's totally unplayable!! And when i saw settings.exe, it said VRAM is only 64 mb...when i tried with the real latest driver from Intel, it runs smoothly. KIM a.k.a AngelicTears, can you fix it ?

hi, well it's a fact that up until now, our 945 cant play CoD4, i still working on that for Windows 7 platform and i believe my team are also working on that on other platform...but i have a theory that enables the 945 to play CoD4 by implanting the swiftshader codes directly in the driver and emulating only the vertex shader codes...and trust me its not easy to do the codes for the driver..
as for PES10...that's odd...many users have played PES10 flawlessly without problems this is the first i heard...can u tell me what's ur device id?? also what version of MD do u used?? there are currently 4 MD released from me..

i recommend using the V1.1 Final version..or u can use V1.0 until i make V1.2..V1.1 are not optimize for netbooks and other sub-notebooks which using the refreshed 945 (945gse for example)
I heard of Call of Duty 2 playable but Call of Duty 4 has a 15% chances of playability in my point of view <_<
I found out that during gaming higher intense graphic games..my laptop generate heats way beyond original driver when using ur modded driver @_@..i dont know if this is suppose to happen but the heat can almost use to cook out a half-cooked egg <_<...
hmm, i dont really know about the heat issue, maybe its a 64 bit issue...
as u all know my driver untapped the most potential out of intel graphics..also the V1.1 use the CPU for graphic aid, which may caused he heat problem, have u use the V1.0 64bit?? i recommend that if u use V1.0 and it delivers the same performance V1.1 with out the heat problem...

CoD4 are not yet playable with my MD or any other MD..ive been working on that to now..
also about DevilMayCry 4, im a big fan of DMC series but sadly we cant play Shader Model 3 game with GMA 950..only GMA 3100 and above can play it..that's our only untapped limitation so far for GMA 950...

tried playing Venetica on a gma 945 i can only access the main menu, i used swift shader but there are still some problem with the graphics mostly pixel shader related also low fps
also cant use 3d analyze on the game

Now that IO've tried force HW Tnl in 3dAnalyze, when on the game's loading screen, then close the game and stated game crashed... hi in my pc (xp, 2gb ram, intel core duo cpu 2.00 and 945gm/gu) Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Chaos Theory doesn't working i cant enter the game
what should i do ? how can i enter with 3d analyze
i found a solution for splinter cell pandora tomorrow
start the game with swift shader 2.0
,lock the pick in your hands and save the game,exit the game and start it normally without the swift shader and it should work
